| I played this cello in high school and my first few years of college. I has a great sound for the price! The tone is very direct, even, and warm. It was originally at a higher price but is more affordable due to a crack on the top near the tailpiece that occured when it was first shipped from Germany to Chicago. This has been repaired and does not affect the sound. This cello was great when I needed it and would suit an advancing student or amateur. |
