| If there are any cellists in the NYC metro area looking for an excellent performer's bow at a reasonable price, I have a Berg Premium bow available. It's 81 grams and has excellent balance.
The stick is composite, personally selected by master bowmaker Michael F. Duff from among those which come closest to theoretical perfection, based on parameters established by Berg's original scientific research. It is mounted with an elegant French style ebony wood frog with tapered pearl slide. The tip is hand polished to a mirror finish and has an ebony wood underlay. The grip is lizard hide, cushioned with an underlay, and is treated with atom wax to protect against skin acids. The winding is fine silver wire and the current hair is top quality salt-and-pepper.
