| Cello labeled Enzo Arassi-Tergestunus Medioloni Anno Domini 1948. This Cello is origional in all its parts. The back is from two-pieces medium-flamed, quarter cut maple with flames ascending from the center towards the bouts. The ribs are of narrow-flamed maple as is the scroll. The top is from two-pieces narrow-medium-grain spruce. The varnish is golden-orange in color. The model is small, probably based on a G.B. Guadagnini. Fair market value appraised at $20,000 in 1998 by Phillip Injeian, ltd. of New York, NY. This cello is in healthy condition, just recently had sound post adjusted and was looked over by Sullivan Violins in Rochester, NY. Cello has a powerful sound and a bright clear tone.
