| A small cello with a big voice with excellent tone. This cello was used by Christopher Hutton, now Head of Cello at Furman University to win numerous competitions against full size cellos.
Labeled Dolling, made c. 1920, reddish-brown in color, the cello is generally in very good condition. Front varnish has a number of small chips; the end of one corner has been knocked off.
Soft bag only, no bow.
This instrument will be in New Zealand until mid-July 2004, then Switzerland. |
