| The two piece back is made of curly maple with a pronounced medium flam which runs straight across. The sides and scroll are made of similar wood although the falme is somewhat more narrow. The two piece top is made of spruce with a medium width grain. The varnish is medium amber brown color. Original label reads in part: "Tutto" Piu Visi Reale fecit Catania, Italia, Anno 1918. Body length 75 cm, upper width 35 cm, lower width 43.8 cm, center bouts 24.2 cm, string length 69.2 cm - Fully restored and ready to play. Excellent for serious student or orchestral player. Previously listed with dealers at much higher price. |
