It's a shame the book is too expensive for me, I tried getting my library to buy it but they felt it was too specialised, i.e. it might make people realise the value of books and they would be flooded with requests for interesting books from interesting authors like Paddy Roe, African writers from teh 60's and 70's, or Latin American writers providing stories about my next favourite thing to playing the cello: playing soccer with frogs.
I know Anner Bylsma is due for another visit to Australia so perhpas you could ask him to hire a carrier plane and dump multiple copies of his book from great heights over sporting arenas etc. I'd say it is quite a heavy text so there might be a bit of a backlash but then the book would really have to live up to my expectations.
So unfortunately I can't ask questions about this book but surely those of you that have read it have some?
