I made my debut at the age of seven, after a month of Suzuki piano lessons.
I played "Little Playmates" for a room full of fellow Suzuki students and their families.
I had never before been so nervous, and I haven't had that many butterflies in my stomach since!
My mom and teacher gently pushed me on stage, and I played with
knocking knees and tearstained cheeks. And I forgot to bow afterwards!
