Do You Want A Seat Cushion?

For cellists experimenting with some of the "New Directions" ideas, there is a cheap Contour Seat Cushion available for $19.95 plus $5.95 shipping and handling.

The seat is a wedge of foam, tapering from 3"in the rear to about 3/4" in the front. It also comes with a separate lumbar support back cushion and a sleazy seat cover. The seat its self is a good way to try out the seated body alignment described by Sazer in his book. The cushion is very light and can easily be carried wherever you play.

The cushion can be ordered by calling 1-800-950-0230.

Ron Welch

P.S. Some consider the above product to be too soft because it is made of foam rubber. Refer to the "Judy Johnson's Seat Cushions" link on the ICSCello Productspage for an alternative, and see below:

Judy Johnson's Seat Cushions

Small;
Medium = 1 inch larger than small;
