I and most of the players in my orchestra whom I know pretty well listen to plenty of non-classical music as well. I enjoy at least some of almost all types of music. The exceptions would be rap, heavy metal and other really hard rock stuff, and most new age. I didn't think I'd ever find a country song I liked until the radio in a junker car I used to own stopped pulling in any station except a country music one. I listened to it for a while because I thought it would be better than silence (and I was curious); to my surprise, I occasionally heard something that was not too bad...
