Wow, what's a flutaphone? My first Cello performance was horrid...I'd never played a solo before on any instrument with piano accompanment. I was in 4th grade, playing the Breval C Major Sonata. I messed up somehow, and my teacher (a fledgling pianist)started playing really loudly and stomping his feet (known for his cowboy boots) to try and get me back on. The performance was for a camp scholarship, btw, which added pressure. It was THE WORST experience performing I've ever had. But I guess the good thing is, it could only get better, and it has thank goodness!
