If I change the D string, would the A string change...

I have a question for anyone who knows the answer. I have a C and G spirocore tungsten, a D jargar forte and a A larsen medium in my cello. I was wondering that if I change the D string, which I donīt like to much because itīs soundless, is it possible that the other strings change too. I mean, could it be possible that the A string, par example, sound less brillant. Sorry if it sounds stupid, I hope you understand...
