I'm proud to say I just completed my first concert on the cello, after one year of playing. I was asked to play in a university orchestra's performance of Vaughan-Williams' "Dona Nobis Pacem". It was a phenomenal performance of this piece, with a great choir but what a killer cello part for a first timer! I am grateful for the 12 years I had on trombone in orchestras, it really helped. Thanks again to the helpful advice from Pat White and Margaret Copeland. It felt like I was back at home again!
