I think, given the situation you describe, that you are handling a difficult situation very well. I am on the faculty at the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY, which has been training music teachers for 125 years. It is true that the demand for string teachers is very great right now. Here in New York State we have at least 20 unfilled openings. Our students get hired very quickly, but if you want to send me information about jobs out your way I will be glad to pass it on to our education secretary. I wish you the best of luck!
