Hi,
The very summer I began playing the 'cello (1967) I began to notice the 'cellist in the Lawrence Welk orchestra (I had never noticed her before). My mother was the one who first pointed her out to me and I noticed that she was the only female in the orchestra. I know that her name is Charlotte. I remember her playing "The Swan" once. Does anyone know anything ore about her? She was obviosuly quite a good player since Mr. Welk only hired the best to be in his orchestra for the broddcasts.
