Walter, here is the link. I must tell you, though, it is mainly a showcase for my students. I built it because I thought they might enjoy seeing themselves featured and because I thought it might be a useful teaching tool. Eventually, as I keep developing it, I hope it will be useful in eliminating some of the redundancy of the teaching experience -- having the material available to see in print might prevent my having to explain the same thing time and time again.(Actually, that is also why I wrote the Practice Manual, but it is more 'fun' to have a website)
The bulk of the work thus far has been focused on getting their (my students') bios and photos onto the website. I recently developed a scale level concept which starts of VERY basically, but even with my most advanced students I find it never hurts to go over the basics. (Lay a firm foundation, upon which a building will never crumble...)There is a message board for my students to use, there are quiz questions, midi files, a pet peeve page, and there is a lot more ambition in my mind than has made it to the website yet! The technical section needs a LOT more development. The summer will see development in that area. Thanks for your interest, hope you enjoy your visit to the site. Don't be shy about leaving a message on the message board, if you like. My students seem quite recalcitrant about using that feature of the site. :(
