I've spent the last nine months changing my bow hand this way and that way. There isnt a definitive bow hand. Everyone has different porportions (fingers, palms, thumbs, and even arms) that your bow hold has to be personalized. I'm just an intermediate player, but if you ask me, as long as you are comfortable, you have control but youre loose too (when I first radified my bow hand my thumb was really tense, but these sort of things can be expected at first). You might find it helpfull though looking at pictures of bow hands... but like I said, dont take everything you see to heart, it may just be imposible for you.
