I have my thumb in the crack between the leather binding and the frog. My first finger curls over the bow about two inches ahead of my thumb. My third and fourth fingers are on either side of the little circle on the frog. However, this is not rigid. My fingers move about a bit, depending on the music, the tempo, the volume, whether I'm playing on the flat or on the edge of the hair, etc. I think the main thing is to get the grip in general (GET A GRIP!), and then just play for about 5 years until you get used to it. I wouldn't get overly exact about the precise placement of fingers. Good luck.
