I'm working on Schostakovich cello sonata, it's a really great piece (so try it, if you havn't)! It's just the kind of piece I like, it shows all the great sides of the cello!
To the point: How do you manage to play the accords, in the middle of the piece (Bar 141-150), fast and corectly? Are there some technics or is this just one of those things you have to practice over and over agian? I have only been playing the piece for about 2 weeks, so it's not a big deal (jet) but practice the accords over and over again makes me crazy.
My celloteacher is so enthusiastic about me playing this piece, and want me to play it on a concert in a couple of weeks. I just don't want to disapoint him, so please give me some advice!
And by the way, on the top of the piece it says 'for Viktor L.Kubazkij', does anyone know if it's a record of him playing this piece?
Thanks!
