OK. It's from a workshop in Germany. I believe
the family name is Bachle. It has a lovely,
resonant tone and is an absolute dream to play.
I played several, on trial for a week at a time
and each time I would return to this one, I grew
to love it more. While it's not one of your pricey
Montagnanas or Vuillaumes, it feels like that to ME
and I'm now entering a new phase in my playing since
I have a more responsive instrument. And certainly
time to practice since I can't afford to do anything
else!!!!!
