Shostakovich Concerto Recordings

Hi, just came back from this concert.. that 15 year old kid Earl Lee played the Shostakovich Cello Concerto No.1 again. It was scary~ He played it so magnificently..
(By the way, if anyone is interested, he gets a chance to compete in the Tchaikovsky(sp?) competition)

Anyways, I'm really impressed with this piece and would like to buy a recording real soon.. Any suggestions?

I'm thinking of buying Rostropovich's recording, since he's Russian and also knew Shostakovich personally. Am I making the right decision?

P.S. Is the No.2 Concerto as good as the first one?
