I am A thirty-something-year-old Afro-American 'cellist in the process of earning my doctorate in 'cello performance,under Laszlo Varga, at the University of Houston. Having a Master's from The Manhattan School.

My principal teachers have been Harvey Shapiro,Olga Rostropovich,and former solo 'cellist with the Chicago Symphony, Dudley Powers. I have played for Janos Starker, David Baker, Slava Rostropovich, Gary Hoffman, Andres Diaz, Kurt Masur, Leonard Slatkin, and many other wonderful entities.

As a performer I have concertised (in solo recitals, ensembles, and as principal of many orchestras.throughout the U.S.)
