Description:
I've played this cello for 8 and a half years (since it was new) and just bought a really fine cello by Ray Melanson, but this one has served well from the start and helped me into graduate school. I've played lots of comparably priced cellos (including some other Doetsch instruments), and this is the best one I've found in this range. It's in great shape (never damaged). I had the fingerboard resurfaced a few years ago and a handcut bridge put on. It's my backup instrument now, but I'd also be very happy to see it go to a good home with a serious student.
