Senor Corostola studied at the Conservatory of Music of San Sebasti�n, graduating with First Prizes in Violoncello, Oboe and Chamber Music.

He entered the National Conservatory of Music in Paris, where he won the First Prize in Voloncello, in addition to other awards.

He continued his studies in the Accademia Musicale Chigiana de Siena, with Navarre, Cassad� and Casals, obtaining the First Prize of "Aid International Gaspar Cassad�," established by Cassado himself.

Senor Corostola was appointed Chair of the Conservatory of Music of San Sebasti�n, and solist of the Orchestras of the Emissora Nacional of Lisbon; National Symphony of Spain; Symphony RTVE and of Madrid (Arb�s Orchestra).

He also was a founding member of the Trio of Lisbon, the Trio of Madrid and the Cassad� Quartet. In 1981 he formed a duo with the pianist Manuel Carra.

He has done concert tours and recitals in Europe, America, Africa and China; and participated in the major music festivals around the world.

Realiz� sus estudios en el Conservatorio de M�sica de San Sebasti�n, finaliz�ndolos con Primeros premios en Violoncello, Oboe y M�sica de C�mara. Ingres� en el Conservatorio Nacional de M�sica de Par�s, obteniendo el Primer Premio en Voloncello, adem�s de otros galardones. Perfecciona sus estudios en la Accademia Musicale Chigiana de Siena, con Navarra, Cassad� y Casals, consiguiendo el Primer Premio del Concurso Internacional "Gaspar Cassad�", institu�do por el propio gran cellista. Gana por oposici�n la C�tedra de Cello del Conservatorio de M�sica de San Sebasti�n. Cello solista de las Orquestas de la Emissora Nacional de Lisboa, Nacional de Espa�a, Sinf�nica de la RTVE y Sinf�nica de Madrid (Orquesta Arb�s). Forma parte del Tr�o de Lisboa, del Tr�o de Madrid y del Cuarteto Cassad�. D�o, desde 1981, con el pianista Manuel Carra. Ha realizado giras de conciertos y recitales por Europa, Am�rica, Africa y China y participado en los m�s importantes festivales musicales de mundo.
