Stefan Moberg Cellist

My name is Stefan and I am 17 years old. I live in H�rn�sand, Sweden. I started playing the cello about two years ago, and now I go to a rather well-known music school here in Sweden, called Kapellsbergs Musikskola. Before I went to "Kapells," I studied the cello with Nils-Erik Blomm� in G�vle, and now I study with �ke Hedman, here in H�rn�sand.

I love playing the cello, and I practice about three hours a day. Here are some pieces I�ve played:

Bach, suites for solo cello, no. 1 and 2
Saint-Sa�ns, Allegro Apassionato
Vivaldi, concerto for cello and strings in D major

Right now (end of November, '97), I play the first movement from Haydn�s cello-concerto in C major, and Beethoven's Sonata for cello and piano in A major.

My favorite composers are probably Beethoven, Haydn and Schostakovitj. My favourite cellist is Jaqueline Du Pr�.
