Ludvig Claeson, CellistBorn in 1970 in Malung, Sweden, I started to play the cello at the age of 8. After music high school in Falun, I moved to Norway in 1989 to study, first at the Bergen Conservatory with Sally Guenther, then in 1991 to the Norwegian state academy of music, where my teacher has been Aage Kvalbein. Today I live in Oslo, and freelance and teach around Norway and Sweden! My secret passion is the baroque cello, anybody playing that instrument professionally is a lucky guy! |
The baroque ensemble DellaStrada was formed in 1997. We have been touring
Scandinavia with a program concentrating on works by Hndel and Purcell, and
are now planning a mixed series of recitals in Oslo.

For the visitors of this page, I would recommend a further visit to the country of Ladonia, a mindbending experience. Their URL is http://www.aim.se/ladonia/.
